This is a cast zinc anode that weighs approximately 3.4 pounds and measures 4" x 6" with a 12" copper wire hanging out for easy tying on to your item you want to protect from rusting. People have used them to protect swimming pool ladders, covers, fences, pipes, boats, and poles. You can upgrade to a longer 10 or 15 foot wire

4x6 zinc anode
Just installed these into fire truck tanks, am sure they will do there job. Would like to see more options for the wire length, goes from 1' to 10', 2 or 3 would be great.

Boat Lift
I use these on my boat lift. We live in a very salty environment at South Padre Island, TX. I have to change them out every 3-4 months. After four years there is no corrosion on the boat lift.
