the metal is what is listed , it is dead soft lead, if you need pure lead for shooting or fishing lures this is what you want.

I have been casting bullets since 1968 and have used some very good lead as well as some junk but I must say that this stuff that I got from Roto Metals is right at the top of the list. It has very little contaminates in it and it bright and shiny when metal, my bullets for my .457 AirForce Texan come out looking real pretty. great material, great service and fast shipping. I will be return shopper. Terry

As advertised. Tested as pure soft lead. Fast shipping, although the mail man didn't think much of handling a package the size of a loaf of bread weighing 35 pounds. Good deal!

The 5 Lb ingots just fit into the space between the pour spout control and the side of my Lee pot. Works great for me.
