Magnesium Anode Extruded Rod 2.024" Dia X Per Foot

At first I was unhappy to find that the core was steel instead of stainless steel only to find that most cores are, in fact, plain steel and work just fine that way electrically. My mistake and apologies to customer service for a misplaced complaint. I am creating 2" segmented anodes for use in a commercial gas fired water heater with limited ceiling clearance. I spot weld stainless studs to the cores at both ends, then connect the segments with stainless braided wire and reattach the original threaded top to the top anode segment. If someone made larger diameter segmented anodes than the ones for residential heaters I wouldn't have to make my own with these 1ft pieces.
