Description

Hardball Bullet Casting Alloy consists of 2% tin, 6% antimony and 92% lead. This modern version of the old Lyman #2 is an excellent all-around alloy for most handgun bullets and many higher velocity rifle cartridges. The Brinell Hardness of Hardball Alloy is about 16.

Sold in ~5 pound ingots.

Ingots are approximately 8-3/4" x 1" x 2" and weigh 5 pounds (+/- .25).

    Well, I have to say this stuff works great I water quench it and it probably bumps it to 18bhn. I use these bullets in a .460 S&W mag and of course I am lubing them and there is near zero leading. I think it cast easy adnmakes a nice bullet had a few that wrinkled or didn't fill all the way out which was more my fault. Very little dross over all in my opinion. I will be back . I just ordered some more

    Casts well in .38, .45 pistol bullets, #4, 00, 000 as well as .69 cal 12 gauge ball slug and 1 ounce key slug.

    Ordered 4 products, 2 types of lead for bullets a ladel and a thermometer for lead. All products were excellent and were shipped both fast and securely! The customer service was outstanding and I will use them again in the future!
