Description

Sold in ~ 5 pounds increments.

 Ingots are approximately 8-3/4" x 1" x 2" and weigh 5 pounds (+/- .25).  This alloy is comprised of twenty five parts of lead and one part of tin(96% lead, 4% tin). The Brinell Hardness Number of 1 to 25 Alloy is approximately 9.


This has been the standard blackpowder cartridge alloy since the .45-70 Government Cartridge was first loaded in 1873. It is also popular with many of today's Cowboy Action Shooters.

    Bought 15 lbs to try it out. Extremely fast shipping and no issues. Sent nuggets as an upgrade which was great, they melt down faster in my RCBS pot. Will buy from again.
